North London – New Housing Development
A leak has occurred in a newly built block of flats which was due to be handed over in 14 days. Our surveyor has inspected the site and carried out full moisture survey which allowed us to provide our client with a moisture map showing how far has the water spread as well as choosing the right drying method for this type of construction, most of the ground floor has been affected which resulted in mould growth.
Our team was on the site the same day and carried out decontamination and installation of the drying equipment. Due to the tight time frame, we had to install more equipment than we would typically use in a similar scenario.
Drying programme has been completed in 12 days, two days ahead of time which meant that the developer had enough time to reinstate affected areas in time for final inspection and handover.
